Terms of Service
These terms cover the use of Pretel. By using the service, your company and its people agree to them. Questions? Email legal@pretel.ai.
The service
Pretel is a live copilot for calls: it transcribes the conversation and suggests the next best thing to say, grounded in your team's own knowledge. It is a tool to assist your people — the final decision on what to say and do always rests with them.
Accounts and access
A company licence includes a set number of seats. Your admin creates accounts for your people and assigns them to sites. You are responsible for keeping your login private and for activity under your account. Don't share accounts or exceed your licensed seats.
Your content
The calls, notes, and documents you upload remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to store and process that content so we can provide the service to you. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to train general AI models.
Acceptable use
- Follow the law, including recording- and consent laws in your area. You are responsible for telling people on a call when required.
- Don't use Pretel to deceive, harass, or harm others, or to handle content you have no right to.
- Don't attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or resell the service.
Availability
We work hard to keep Pretel reliable and secure, but the service is provided "as is" and we can't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Suggestions are generated by AI and may be imperfect — always use your own judgment.
Payment and term
Paid plans are billed as agreed in your order. Either side may end the agreement per that order; on termination, access stops and, on request, your data is deleted.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Pretel is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the prior 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms; we'll post the new version here and update the date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
